1st Annual ChiliFest!
1st Annual ChiliFest! an overwhelming success!!!
An
estimated 1,000 people were in attendance at Mankato's Morson-Ario VFW
Post 2713 on Saturday, November 22nd, as 21 teams of area police, fire,
EMS and other public safety and community groups faced off against each
other in other cooking up their best batches of chili! Hungry
attendees gulped down over 100 gallons of chili!
The event was
sponsored by the
Mankato Department of Public Safety and
Radio Mankato.
In all, over $8,000 was
raised to benefit Minnesota Rett
Syndrome Research Association, and the
Mankato
Veteran's Memorial Place!
